Maybe some of these were one-off (literal) pipe dreams, but I prefer to think their designers had big dreams of overturning The Mainstream Paradigm with — whatever the hell this is.

I swear as god is my witness this is an actual screenshot from an actual piece of software written by fully grown adults (I assume) and released by a once-legitimate global business concern.
Basically a bunch of demoscene visuals with era-appropriate rave-puppy mod music soundtrack. It’s almost amazing what it achieves on the historically anemic 3DO.
People say the 1970s were lit but whatever was going around in 1994 would give Leary pause.
